§ Mr. MoyleWe have been aware for some time of public and professional concern that the safety of amniocentesis should be properly evaluated. It was for this reason that the Medical Research Council set up a working party to consider and undertake a research survey on the hazards of amniocentesis, and I understand that its report will be published in the spring.
