§ Mr. William RodgersThe Government have very recently replied to a letter from the EEC Commission about the requirements of Regulation (EEC) No. 1463/70. The cost of installing a tachograph is about £175, or a little less for vehicles equipped during manufacture. There is also a standard fee of £10 for calibration of the instrument prior to use.
