§ Mr. GoldingI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that 529 projects funded under the job creation programme are in operation in Wales, the largest of which is sponsored jointly by the Welsh Development Agency, the British Waterways Board and the Brecon Beacons National Park Committee, and is providing 100 temporary jobs.
To date 1,405 projects providing approximately 12,720 temporary jobs, have been approved in Wales at an estimated cost to the Manpower Services Commission of £19.7 million.
