§ Mr. Alec JonesNo. There are no standing arrangements in the EEC for assistance to member States which suffer by flooding or other natural disasters. The Commission's offer of special aid to those countries which suffered widespread damage in the recent adverse weather was exceptional. The flooding at Llandudno Junction does not fall into the same category.
