HC Deb 27 February 1978 vol 945 c49W
Mr. Silvester

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services, pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Manchester, Withington, Official Report, 7th February, column 1210, if he will make a statement concerning compensation for whooping-cough vaccine victims.

Mr. Ennals

I do not think I can usefully add to what I said in my replies in the House to the hon. Members for Manchester, Withington (Mr. Silvester), Christchurch and Lymington (Mr. Adley) and Reading, South (Dr. Vaughan) on 7th February—[Vol. 943, c. 1210–12]— save that I understand that the Pearson Commission's report has been completed and is expected to be published shortly.
