§ Mr. Trotterasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether, in the light of the EEC's offer of a quota of 852,000 tons to the British fishing fleet and the failure of the EEC negotiations, he regards the British fishing effort as currently being restricted to a quota; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. BishopThe Government have not agreed to the quotas proposed by the Commission, and consequently the Britsh industry is not bound by the figures in those proposals.
