§ Mr. Goodladasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what action he has taken following the findings of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration in Case No. C461, Session 1977–78.
§ Mr. Alfred MorrisThe Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration did not uphold the complaint against the Department's refusal to join this war pensioner724W in an application to have the 1952 Pen-sons Appeal Tribunal decision on attributability set aside. On the complaint of misleading advice about an allowance for lower standard of occupation, he found that this had been remedied before the complaint had been referred to him and he found no maladministration in not backing-dating the current awards to a date earlier than 1972. Accordingly my right hon. Friend has taken no further action.
