Mr. Ted Fletcherasked the Secretary of State for Defence if, with a view to similar preparations for switching of jobs in Great Britain, he will consider the publications of the United States Government Office of Conversion, showing how towns which were dependent on arms manufacture or military bases have been successfully converted to civilian production without loss of, or with an increase in, employment.
