(3) what were the total fees paid by students entering for A-level examinations nationally in 1977.
§ Miss Margaret JacksonThe examining boards do not make regular returns to my Department about fee income, and the 1977 figures requested are not readily obtainable, but in 1976 information indicates that total income nationally for O-levels, A-levels and CSEs was about £17 million.
