asked the Secretary of State for Defence who within units in BAOR will undertake the work previously carried out by the WRVS ladies.

Mr. Robert C. Brown: The work previously undertaken by the WRVS in BAOR was an aspect of unit welfare which is primarily the responsibility of regimental officers. Commanding officers will now make their own arrangements to ensure that this work is carried out.
