§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many non-British citizens are on the electoral register; what action he has taken or intends taking to advise those who are not entitled to vote that they should refrain from voting; as there is no limit to the number of registers that a person with several homes or part-time residences may register on, what action is taken to ensure that these people only vote once; and whether he will make a statement.
