§ Mr. Skeetasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will consider amending the Finance Acts to prevent interest being charged or adjusted on taxpayers' assessments which have been erroneously assessed by the Inland Revenue or where the liability of the taxpayer has been aggravated by delay or error of his Department.
