§ Mr. John FraserMy Department was represented on the British Standards Institution's technical committee responsible for drafting the revised safety standard for children's cots with a view to supporting regulations being made under the Consumer Protection Act 1961 when the standard was published.
Draft regulations, based on the standard, are in course of preparation and 341W will be circulated to interested bodies for comment as soon as possible.
