§ Mr. CryerSince the announcement by my right hon. Friend on 27th June 1977 of increases in rent-free periods in appropriate cases in special development areas—[Vol. 934, c. 30]—no awards beyond a period of two years rent free have been made to tenants applying for factories on Merseyside.
