HC Deb 15 February 1978 vol 944 c234W
Mr. Cormack

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he has had any recent discussions with the British Railways Board on the future of Liverpool Street Station; and when he expects to make a public statement on the proposals to demolish the station.

Mr. Shore

I have not held any meetings with the British Railways Board. Whilst the applications to redevelop Liverpool Street and Broad Street stations are before me for decision, it would not be right for me to do so. These are major and complex proposals which need time to be considered fully, but a decision will be announced as soon as possible.
