Members of the public often inquire direct to the Department for National Savings about the premium savings bond prize draw and the technical operation of ERNIE. This is fully explained in the ERNIE booklet, currently being revised and freely available at post offices. In addition, the Department is always pleased to supply any information requested to reassure people of the fairness and impartiality of the system.
