§ Mr. ConcannonA capital grant scheme and a job introduction scheme for the disabled equivalent to the Manpower Services Commission's schemes were introduced by the Northern Ireland Department of Manpower Services on 1st July 1977.
These schemes form part of the Department's positive policies programmes to promote further opportunities in employment for disabled people. The Department's disablement resettlement officer service has been augmented to meet the needs of the programme.
