There are no figures available on the number of times advice has been given that has specifically related to the salaries of directors but we have vigorously followed up any particular problems that have been drawn to our attention. Fees charged by the self-employed are dealt with under the Price Code and are a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection.
