HC Deb 08 February 1978 vol 943 c616W
Mr. Wm. Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland on how many occasions the Housing Council in Northern Ireland has offered advice to the Board of the Housing Executive since the council and board were set up; and how many of their recommendations have been implemented.

Mr. Carter,

pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 7th February 1978: Vol. 943], gave the following information:

The details sought are the responsibility of the Housing Executive and the Housing Council. Generally, however, I am satisfied that the Council provides a useful forum for the regular and frequent consultation on housing policies and problems between local elected representatives and the Executive.
