§ Mr. Georgeasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will consider seeking to place a levy on all skateboards and skateboard parts, to be forwarded to the Sports Council for giving grant aid to local authorities which need to provide off-street skateboarding facilities for children, but which cannot afford to do so, in the light of reductions in the rate support grant for other services, and the lack of funds available from the Sports Council.
