asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many women have been appointed to supplementary benefit appeal tribunals.

Mr. Deakins,

pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 30th January 1978; Vol. 943, c. 50], gave the following information:

There are at present 675 women appointed to supplementary benefit appeal tribunals.
