asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects to complete his study of the problem of the use of children in the making of pornographic material.

The Government will make a considered statement of their views when the Bill introduced by the hon. Member for Bexleyheath (Mr. Townsend) is debated.

49. Mr. Shepherd

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will introduce, forthwith, legislation to curb displays of pornographic literature in circumstances where it can be seen by children.
