§ Mr. Moonmanasked the Secretary of State for Trade what steps he has taken within the last week to inform the Japanese Minister for External Affairs, Nobuhiko Ushiba, on the need for Japan to cut its car exports to Great Britain in 1978.
§ Mr. DellI met Mr. Ushiba several times last week while he was in London and emphasised my strong concern that next week's inter-industry discussions should have a satisfactory outcome.
