Mr. Pavitt

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he is now able to announce the appointment of members of the reconstituted Health Education Council.

The new Council has been appointed for the period 1st January 1973 to 31st December 1980, as set out below. The term of office of the chairman, Sir George Godber, GCB, DM, FRCP. FFCM, ends on 31st December 1978.
