§ Dr. Edmund Marshallasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what is the present position in respect of proposals for the future secondary school education of children who live at Womersley, in the Selby district of North Yorkshire.
§ Miss Margaret JacksonThe Secretary of State is considering proposals made by the North Yorkshire Education Authority under Section 13 of the Education Act 1944 for the reorganisation of secondary education in Selby. These could affect children living in Womersley, who at present transfer to secondary schools in Doncaster. I will write to the hon. Member once a decision has been made.
