§ 60. Mr. David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he is now in a position to announce his decision on the line of route of the M27 motorway between Chilworth and Hedge End, following last year's public inquiry and his inspector's report.
§ Mr. HoramA decision about the route of the M27 has been delayed by the need to review the proposals in the light of the recommendations in the Leitch Report. We hope that it will be possible to make an announcement shortly, about the alternative route put forward at the inquiry.
