§ Mr. Barry Jones:A total of 20,645 up to end November. During the same period the Welsh Office made 153 offers of selective financial assistance to projects 390W which are expected to lead to the creation or safeguarding of over 7,000 jobs over the next few years. New employment will also arise from projects not seeking Government assistance.
