§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will now amend the labelling regulations covering medicines to include a revised warning on paracetamol-containing products sold directly to the public to read "Do not exceed the stated dose; an overdose is dangerous; medical attention should be sought immediately."
§ Mr. Moyle:I shall shortly be consulting the representative organisations about this proposed amendment to the medicines (labelling) regulations. Such consultation is a statutory requirement under the Medicines Act.
