§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Energy whether, when appointing members to committees of inquiries into matters of public controversy, etc., he will publish the applications and biographical details of those concerned, if any, and what connections they have had with industries or other issues likely to be raised during the inquiries.
§ Mr. Benn:On setting up such committees I arrange for the issue of press notices giving all relevant biographical details of the members appointed. I should be glad to furnish other information about such persons to the House if it wishes it.
