§ Lord HARRIS of GREENWICHThe Decision of the Council of the European Communities regarding the direct election of representatives to the European Assembly does not apply to the Dependencies. Persons from the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or Gibraltar may vote in the election only if resident in the United Kingdom on the qualifying date for the electoral register.
