§ Mr. Knoxasked the Secretary of State for Industry what instructions have been given to the British representative at the United Nations Conference in Geneva at present negotiating an international rubber agreement, regarding the location of the future headquarters of its operating council.
§ Mr. Les Huckfield:The United Kingdom representatives at the present United Nations Conference in Geneva on natural rubber has proposed London as the seat of the envisaged International Natural Rubber Organisation. There are many good reasons for choosing London and the United Kingdom representatives have been instructed to make these clear to other delegations.
