§ 26. Mr. Sainsburyasked the Minister for the Civil Service whether he will make a statement on organisation and methods work within the Civil Service.
§ Mr. Charles R. Morris:In all about 1,000 staff are now employed in the Civil Service on O&M and related management services work. The hon. Member may wish to refer to the appendices to the minutes of evidence to the General Sub-Committee of the Expenditure Committee on 17th May 1976 for information about the organisation of these resources in departments and at the centre. The position has not changed substantially since then.
