§ Mr. John Ellisasked the Secretary of State for Transport when the new road bridge over the Trent will be complete; and when the Scunthorpe bypass will be open to traffic to complete this link of the motorway network from Barnetby to Thorne.
§ Mr. Horam:The Scunthorpe southern bypass section of the M180, together with the M181 link to Scunthorpe, will be opened to traffic on 15th December. We hope that the remaining five miles of the M180, which include the Trent bridge, will be opened to traffic next summer.
