§ Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will publish details concerning control by Ministers over the use of aircraft of The Queen's Flight.
§ Mr. Wellbeloved:Aircraft of The Queen's Flight may be used by The Queen, The Queen Mother and The Duke of Edinburgh for any purpose. Other authorised users on official duties— members of the Royal Family, senior Government Ministers, senior Defence staff and visiting foreign dignitaries— may also use the aircraft subject to the approval of both the Palace and the Ministry of Defence.
