Mr. Gwilym Robertsasked the Secretary of State for Employment what study he has made of the proposals for protection for home workers drafted by the National Conference of Homeworker Action Groups, a copy of which has been supplied to him; and if he will take steps to implement these proposals.
§ Mr. John Grant:Officials will shortly be having discussions with the CBI and TUC about the employment status of home workers before any decision is taken on legislation. I am arranging for the other proposals to be considered by my advisory committee on home working.
