§ Mr. Geoffrey Finsbergasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if lie will permit Mr. Louis Gelman to appear in person on 11th December before the Advisory Committee on Rhodesian Travel Restrictions in order to put his case: and if he will make a statement as to his reasons.
§ Mr. Rowlands:My right hon. Friend is arranging for Mr. Gelman's admission to the United Kingdom to appear before the Advisory Committee on Rhodesian Travel Restrictions, as it has advised him that this will assist it in its scrutiny of his (Mr. Gelman's) case. This is the procedure laid down in the then Commonwealth Secretary's statement of 27th June 1968.
