§ Mr. Moyle:Provided that the advice in the guidelines issued by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment is followed, the application of treated sewage sludge to agricultural land should not present a health hazard. These guidelines are revised from time to time in the light of changes of agricultural practice and of new scientific evidence. Untreated sewage should not, of course, be applied to agricultural land.
