HL Deb 06 December 1978 vol 397 cc263-4WA
Lord WINTERBOTTOM

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether a decision has yet been taken to hold a public inquiry into the proposed East Infill Block at the Natural History Museum, Kensington.

The PARLIAMENTARY UNDERSECRETARY of STATE, DEPARTMENT of the ENVIRONMENT (Baroness Birk)

In view of the public interest and concern that has been expressed, the Government have decided that it would be appropriate to hold a non-statutory public inquiry into the proposal and this will be arranged as soon as possible.

House adjourned at twelve minutes past ten o'clock.
