§ Mr. Robin F. Cookasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what circulars have been issued by his Department on the Urban Aid Programme Since 642W 1970, and the date on which each circular was issued.
§ Mr. Guy Barnett:Since assuming responsibility for the urban programme for England in 1977 the Department of the Environment has issued three circulars in the urban programme series: no. 17— DOE circular 122/77— on 30th November 1977, 18— DOE circular 61/78— on 25th August 1978; and 19— DOE circular 75/78— on 30th November 1978.
The programme was administered by the Home Secretary previously and his Department issued the following circulars between the start of the programme in 1968 and the transfer in 1977:
