§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if, before nominating a replacement to fill the vacancy on the board of British Petroleum in place of Lord Greenhill, he will have discussions with the workers and trades unions concerned so as to ensure that the director is a person who has the confidence of those employed in the industry.
