§ 25. Mr. Wyn Robertsasked the Secretary of State for Energy whether he is satisfied with the general availability and supply of liquid petroleum gas in different parts of the United Kingdom.
§ Dr. John CunninghamI am not aware of any particular difficulties in the supply of liquefied petroleum gases in the United Kingdom at present. In previous winters there have been some localised shortages of LPG in refillable cylinders; these were largely due to the numbers of cylinders in circulation being insufficient to meet sudden large increases in demand. I am advised that the cylinder position is now satisfactory.
