§ Mr. Bowdenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he has received representations from local authorities which have exhausted their allocation of money for insulation grants for the current year; and if he will list the authorities concerned.
§ Mr. Armstrong:My information is that a large number of authorities have committed, or are about to commit, all their allocation. In the light of the success of the scheme I am making a further £7 million available in the current year.
