Nevertheless, our records show that the total value of capital school 481W building projects started at secondary schools in Crewe and Nantwich in the financial years 1976–77 and 1977–78 and expected to start in 1978–79 are as follows:
£ 1976–77 369,000 1977–78 403,000 1978–79 451,000 These figures exclude minor works and all expenditure other than school building work.
All the projects started in the financial year 1976–77 were projects which provided specifically for comprehensive reorganisation under the special programme to assist reorganisation. Those in 1977–78 and 1978–79 relate to the extensions of Crewe Victoria County High School.
