§ Mr. Hayhoeasked the Secretary of State for Transport what estimates he has made of the effects upon traffic flow in the Chiswick area if the number of passengers using Heathrow increases to the figures estimated by the British Airports Authority during the next decade.
§ Mr. HoramTraffic assignments have been carried out for the year 1987 with and without the fourth terminal proposed by BAA. These indicate that in that year the increased passenger throughput at Heathrow would result in an increase of less than 5 per cent. on the daily flow on the A4/M4 corridor through Chiswick.
