§ Mr. DeakinsI have no separate plans for training to meet the particular needs of the Committee on Safety of Medicines, the membership of which includes toxicologists, or of Medicines Division which supports this and other advisory committees in the assessment of toxicological studies on animals and the results of 441W epidemiological work on man. On the training of toxicologists in general, I would refer the hon. Member to my right hon. Friend's reply on 20th July to the hon. Member for Hillingdon and Uxbridge (Mr. Shersby) about the shortage of toxicologists and arrangements for their training.—[Vol. 954, c. 381–2.]
