asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what objections she has raised to the war service of university teachers being counted on the same 50 per cent. basis as that of schoolteachers under the university superannuation scheme.

As I explained in reply to a Question by the hon. Member for Winchester (Rear-Admiral Morgan-Giles) on 13th July, this matter is under discussion so that I cannot forecast the outcome or all the factors that will be taken into account.
