§ Mr. Robert SheldonThe recommendation has still to be considered by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. In principle the United Kingdom would, however, be prepared to take part in any discussions which might eventually be arranged to consider, by agreement among the member States, the improvement of co-operation against international tax evasion and offences and the initiation of measures to curtail international tax avoidance.
