Mr. Litterick

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps his Department is taking to assess the needs of the United Kingdom for radio frequencies in preparation for the coming World Administrative Radio Conference of the International Telecommunications Union; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Litterick

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what radio frequencies are retained for standby use by the British Government; and what are these standby uses.

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will convene a conference of Commonwealth countries to assess and harmonise the radio frequency needs of the United Kingdom and Third World countries in preparation for the coming World Administrative Radio Conference of the International Telecommunications Union.
