Mr. John Moore

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish a table from international sources available to him of output per person employed in manufacturing industries in all current member States of the EEC, Japan and the United States of America for each year since 1960.

Such information as is readily available on a comparable basis from publications of the OECD covers the years 1965 to 1975 only, and is given in the table below:
