HC Deb 01 August 1978 vol 955 c301W
Mr. Fry

asked the Secretary of State for Transport what action he has taken or intends to take in order to ensure that British tourists visiting European countries for holiday purposes and travelling in minibuses will not incur the risk of penalties or refusal of entry because their vehicles are not equipped with tachographs in accordance with EEC requirements.

Mr. William Rodgers

Leaflets are obtainable from my Department's offices giving full details of the EEC law, including that on tachographs, for the use of people taking minibuses to other EEC member States. I shall consider whether they could be made more widely and conveniently available.
